343 Industries studio head Dan Ayoub confirmed today that all players who buy the digital version of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition will receive “special preview access” to the upcoming remastered release of Halo Wars for Xbox One and Windows 10 this December.Access to Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be available from December 20. An enhanced version of the original game, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition features improved graphics, additional Achievements, and also includes all of the DLC created for the original.Ayoub made the announcement on stage at The Game Awards, also debuting a new cinematic trailer for Halo Wars 2 that showcased more of the story behind the upcoming strategy sequel.
